DIFC FinTech Hive, launched in January 2017, is the first and largest financial technology accelerator in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region. Operated by Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) in partnership with Accenture. Since launch, the Hive has received over 2,500 applications and selected 160+ startups to participate. More than 50% of all FinTech businesses operating in MENA are based in DIFC. Located in Gate Avenue, DIFC. The 2022 cohort featured 44 startups (its largest).
