Startup Intelligence Platform
DisruptAD, established by ADQ, serves as the venture capital arm of the Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company. The platform focuses on investing in start-ups and venture capital funds, aiming to nurture over 1,000 start-ups by 2025. DisruptAD's investments span various sectors, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food and agriculture, mobility and logistics, and energy and utilities. The platform operates globally, targeting markets in the Middle East and North Africa, India, China, South East Asia, and the United States. DisruptAD also manages the AED 1.1 billion Alpha Wave Incubation Fund, focusing on Indian and South East Asian start-ups, and the AED 535 million Ventures Fund, a flagship initiative of the Ghadan 21 programme. Through these initiatives, DisruptAD seeks to accelerate Abu Dhabi's evolution as a global start-up destination and foster a thriving innovation ecosystem.
