Emirates Growth Fund

Emirates Growth Fund (EGF) is the UAE's flagship growth equity platform, established to accelerate the scale, resilience, and global competitiveness of UAE-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Backed by Emirates Development Bank (EDB), EGF provides patient capital and strategic support to high-potential businesses across priority sectors such as manufacturing, food security, healthcare, and advanced technology. The fund plays a pivotal role in driving the UAE's industrial transformation and advancing the goals of Operation 300bn, the national strategy to raise the industrial sector's GDP contribution to AED 300 billion by 2031. EGF targets UAE-based SMEs with strong growth potential and annual revenues typically starting from AED 10 million. The fund's investments range between AED 10 million and AED 50 million per company. By combining minority equity stakes with active value creation, EGF empowers founders to scale sustainably, strengthen governance, and build national champions that will shape the UAE's economic future. The fund operates as a strategic partner, not just a funder, offering value-add support including board-level and governance advisory, operational excellence, market access, and talent access. In May 2025, EGF announced its inaugural investment in Tarmeem Healthcare Holding LTD, a rapidly growing healthcare provider transforming patient mobility and quality of life. This investment aligns with the UAE's industrial strategy to accelerate the growth of national priority sectors. The appointment of His Excellency Khalifa Al Hajeri as CEO in October 2025 marked a pivotal moment in EGF's journey to empower the UAE's SMEs and advance the country's strategic economic priorities, reinforcing the fund's role as a catalyst for sustainable long-term growth and a partner in building resilient national business champions.
