Hub71 is Abu Dhabi's flagship global tech ecosystem, launched in 2019 as part of the UAE government's AED 50 billion Ghadan 21 economic accelerator program. It is based in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) on Al Maryah Island and is backed by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and Mubadala Investment Company. Since its launch, Hub71 has grown into a community of 300+ startups across 24 sectors and has welcomed cohorts drawn from international markets including the USA, UK, France, Germany and the wider MENA region. The 15th cohort alone selected 21 startups (from 1,228 applicants) that had collectively raised over USD 130 million.
