Intelak (Arabic for 'taking off') is the UAE's first and only aviation, travel and tourism focused start-up hub, founded in September 2016. Principal Partners: the Emirates Group, Dubai's Department of Economy & Tourism (DET), Accenture, Amadeus and Microsoft. Located at DTEC, Dubai Silicon Oasis. Originally founded by Emirates Group, GE and Etisalat Digital; in 2020 Microsoft and Accenture joined as Principal Partners. Reports a 75% success rate for graduating startups, with notable alumni including Dubz (now majority-owned by dnata) and The Conceptualisers.
